Dear Valued Patrons Independence Golf Club Is proud to host the SunTrust State Open of Virginia July 12, 2010 - July 18, 2010 The schedule for the week is as follows: Monday, July 12 Play the course the best Pros and Amateurs in Virginia will play in the State Open! Course/practice areas open for public play Special rate of $60.00! Tuesday, July 13 Pro/AM tournament day, course/practice areas closed to the public. Wednesday, July 14 Practice round for players. Course/practice areas closed to the public. Spectator admission is free. Thursday, July 15 - Sunday, July 18 Tournament days, course/practice areas closed to the public.  Spectator admission is free. Short Course The Short Course will be open for public play this week, walking only. Please contact the Pro Shop 804.594.0261. Independence Golf Club is a facility of the VSGA Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) whose purpose is to foster amateur and junior golf within the state of Virginia.
