STUDENT CHAPTERS

The Virginias Chapter is proud to be a contributor to James Madison University’s and Virginia Tech’s CMAA student chapters. Over the years, JMU and VT have been the recipients of $170,000 in monetary support. We believe in the investing in our future industry leaders. The Chapter participates in career fairs hosted by both James Madison and Virginia Tech along with other community college hospitality program fairs.

Managers travel to participate in educational panels with students throughout the year to offer guidance and share the profession of club management. Students are invited to dine with managers at our dinner outings arranged the evening before our education sessions. The Chapter is also working with students at Christopher Newport University in establishing a new CMAA Student Chapter at their school.
